| Summary | RCM4 Aanderaa current meters provided measurements of pressure, temperature, and speed and direction of the water flow in the coastal area off La Spezia, Italy. The sampling rate was 10 minutes. Spurious and/or degraded data were detected and eliminated. Interpolations were performed to fill in the gaps in the data caused by their removal. The measurements were carried out at different times in the periods November 1977 to April 1978 and September 1978 to July 1979. In all, 30 time series of both current velocity and temperature were obtained at shallow depths (10-130 meters) and for variable time periods. |
