| Summary | In the framework of a cooperative investigation carried out together with Naval Postgraduate School (Monterey, CA - U.S.A., SACLANT - La Spezia IT, Stazione Zoologica 'A. Dohrn' - Napoli IT, surface drifters were regularly deployed, 4 times a year along the Sicily - Tunisia section. The trajectories cover the whole area of the Sicily Straits and the Ionian Sea, entering occasionally the Adriatic Sea and Levantine basin. |
