| Summary | The microphytobenthic populations were analyzed in relation to the impact of mucilaginous aggregates on the Northern Adriatic Ecosystem. This project comprised monthly combined cruises covering the whole of the Northern Adriatic basin north of a line from Ravenna (Italy) to Lussino (Croatia), and was carried out with four vessels simultaneously. The samples for microphytobenthos, chlorophyll-a and phaeopigment analyses were collected during 6 cruises from June to October 1990, 6 cruises from June to November 1991 and 9 cruises from March to November 1992. |
