| Summary | The goal is to observe changes in the trophic state of the Italian coastal areas, in the period 1987-1989, in relation to the reduction of phosphorous in detergents applied by law in the same period. Nine stations in each district area were sampled monthly, between March and October, at 100 metres from the coastline. Data are stored in a database file arranged per station and per data. Samples are collected and analyzed by the local organisation of the Ministry of Health and mailed to the Water Research Institute as a coordinator of the program. |
