The marine current measurements were performed in the framework of a special multidisciplinary Dynamics Experiment carried out in the Northern Adriatic Sea (NADEX), scheduled to determine the Adriatic small scale hydrological features, dynamics, and modelling. The moorings were deployed with three meters at 10 m, 22 m and near the bottom. The time series have been recorded at sampling intervals of 5 minutes. The data are fully quality controlled for gaps, spikes and spurious data. One meter at 10 m depth was damaged by a fishing boat and presents only valid data of water temperature and current direction. The datasets are stored as a raw time series for each current meter (1 data cycle of temperature, speed and direction every 5 minutes) covering approximately a spanning time of 13 days, for a total amount of 195 days.
