| Description | |
| Summary | The wave data were collected in the framework of an environmental study for shore protection. The data were sampled with a frequency of 1 Hz, with a duration of individual records of 1024 seconds, at intervals of 180 minutes. The data were reduced to sea surface by a) FFT on the original wave data (zero averaged); b) application of a gain function in the range 0 - 0.35 Hz; and c) inverse FFT. The data sets are stored as a raw time series together with the related characteristic parameters Hs, Ts, Hm, Tm, Tz, obtained by Tucker method (M.J. Tucker, 1983: Analysis of records of sea waves, Proc. of the Inst. of Civil Eng., 26, 305-316). The complete data set consists of 3 months of recording. |
