| Summary | Initially, the measurements were started to estimate the energy content in the waves. At present the measurements are used for comparison with and validation of the wave model HYPNE, (Nested HYPAS-model - different gridsizes). The wave program is part of the Baltic cooperation of waves; Baltic Operational Oceanographic System (BOOS). Swedish Wave Energy Programme (1978-1985). |
