Description
Summary

From 1957 onwards, various species of (shell) fish are sampled for biological parameters on board fishing vessels or in auctions (primarily) to collect stock dependent biological information. The main species sampled are: plaice, sole, cod, whiting, turbot, brill, herring, mackerel, blue whiting, greater argentines, horse mackerel, norway lobster, common shrimp. However, not all species are sampled in all years and other species might be included in some years as well. The geographical distribution is based on the geographical scope of the Dutch fishing fleet.
