Bathythermographs

The vertical distributions of temperature in the Southern Adriatic and Northern Ionian sea were studied with XBT launches. The XBT measurements were planned to be carried out with a spatial resolution of 10 nautical miles. Ships used were: Cap Canaille, Excelsior, Princesa Victoria, Lipa, Annabella, City Of Dublin, Mariska, Isabella, Methane Polar, Princesa Marissa. 104 Datasets. A copy of data is recorded at OGS that is the Italian National Oceanographic Data Center.
