Description
Summary

During ADRICOSM a network of coastal monitoring stations measuring: depth, temperature, conductivity (salinity) and oxygen profiles was upgraded. During the project the sampling interval was chosen to be two weeks during the pre-operational period and one week during the operational period. For ADRICOSM-EXT combined collection of CTD and ADCP data were carried out in monthly time scale in the four traditional CTD coastal monitoring networks of ADRICOSM project. ADRICOSM-EXT continued and enlarged the research and development work of ADRICOSM and coordinated activities between Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia-Montenegro. The Emilia Romagna coastal area which was managed by ARPA DAPHNE Agenzia Regionale Prevenzione e Ambiente dell'Emilia Romagna, Struttura Oceanografica Daphne (Italy) (N 44 - N 44 40' , E13 -13 12'). A copy of data is recorded at OGS that is the Italian National Oceanographic Data Center.
