| Summary | The Hydrographic unit forms part of the Marine Department within the Malta Maritime Authority Ports Directorate. It is entrusted with the safe navigation within Ports and Coastal waters. To achieve this the Hydrographic unit conducts hydrographic surveys, carries out tidal observations, issues Notices to Mariners and is responsible for the Navigational Aids. |
