Subject of inquiry is geoecosystem of the bottom sediments of the coastal-shelf zone of the Black and Azov seas of Ukraine, estuaries and bays of the north-western shelf of the Black sea. The questions which were covered define the tasks connected with rational utilization of mineral, raw, grocery, energetic, informational, recreational and other resources of a shelf of the Black and Azov seas of Ukraine, conservancy and protection of its geoecosystem and control of an ecological state.
