Phytoplankton taxonomic abundance in water bodies

Discrete water samplers

Dataset contains phytoplankton data from 6 scientific cruises. (G.Ushakov 60, 60a, E.Krenkel 56,57,58,59). Dataset contains following parameters for each species identified: abundance, biomass, average volume. For part of stations the samples were taken from the depth corresponding the illumination level 100,46,25,10,1%. For other stations samples were taken from standard depths 0,10,25,50 and 100 m. Total: 514 stations and about 14000 data records. People involved in sample processing: V.N.Vasil'eva, L.A. Vinogradova, L.G. Senichkina, L.V. Kuz'menko, Yu.V.Bryantseva, A.E. Ivlev, O.G. Osetrov.
