The Research Cruises dataset contains data collected in the cruises organized by the Black Sea Ecosystem Recovery project (BSERP) in 2003 -2006 in framework of its Research Programme. The cruises were carried out by international scientific teams at Bulgarian R/V Akademik (3 cruises) and Ukrainian R/V Vladimir Parhin (1 cruise). The main purpose of the cruises was investigation changes in the Black Sea ecosystem. The geographic scope is western Black Sea. The Research Cruises dataset is multidisciplinary, containing data in areas of physical and chemical oceanography, marine biology, meteorology, sediment quality etc.
