Data from two expeditions aboard RV "Neptun" (17-29 April 2009) and RV "Neptun" (23-29 May 2009) completed in the frame of EU TACIS/2005/109244 Project “Caspian Water Quality Monitoring and Action Plan for Areas of Pollution Concern”. Standard hydrochemistry parameters and pollution of water and bottom sediments by large number of organic and unorganic chemical substances. The investigation area covered shallow estuarine waters nearby Volga Delta and coastal areas off Dagestan coast, as well central part of the Caspian Sea.
