| Summary | Within the framework of the CYCOFOS project the center provides flow forecasts for 3D currents, temperature, salinity and sea level. The 3D flow model used in the CYCOFOS-CYCOM low is based on the POM model. The POM uses primitive equations in prognostic mode, sigma coordinate in vertical, Arakawa system in horizontal, time splitting (external barotropic baroclinic). |
