| Summary | Gliders have been deployed by the center within the frame of the project YPOKINOUMODA to observe the East Mediterranean and collect high resolution data from the upper 1000m of the sea. Measurements include temperature, salinity, currents, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll and turbidity. The measurements will complement the existing observing programs and numerical modelling of the Levantine Basin carried out by the Center. |
