| Summary | Bathymetric, topographic and tidal data are gathered and processed to make fair sheets of depths related to local chart datum. Fair sheets of critical areas are distributed internally as working copies; others are used as a basis for the published charts. Extensive bathymetric data of the area is now available in digital (ASCII xyz) format. The PLA Hydrographic service will have a large amount of the data in S57 by the end of 2001 |
