Description
Summary

The data set comprises the CTD observations made on R/V Aju-Dag cruises since 1978 and on R/V A.Veimer cruises since 1984. Starting from the beginning of 90-s many different vessels have contributed to the set of data of CTD casts. Nearly all observations are from the Baltic Sea, many are from BMP stations (some from the stations of Estonian monitoring programme), but most of the data are from different synoptic scale surveys which had been defined according to the scientific programme of a particular cruise. Most of the CTD data are acquired by Neil Brown Mark III CTD probe. The vertical resolution of the data is 1 or 0.5 dbar. There are about 16 000 CTD casts stored up to 2006.
