Description | |
Summary | Environmental monitoring of the Black Sea Poti Sea Port was carried out, under contract, by the scientific research firm GAMMA between 2012 and 2014. As part of the monitoring programme, the port sea area water quality was assessed four times per year at three separate stations. Water samples were collected for the analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons. The main objectives of monitoring were to determine the temporal and spatial variability of controlled parameters, assess the state of the environment in the sea port area and to understand the environmental impact of these changes to the water quality of the sea port operational area. |
