| Summary | SeaWiFS: Reprocessed version 5.1 data produced by the Ocean Biology Processing Group was acquired from the NASA Oceancolor website (http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/). Data are level 3 8-day composite products (9x9 km2 resolution) of near surface Chl-a (mg m-3). Chl-a concentration was estimated using the Ocean Chlorophyll 4 - version 4 (OC4-v4) algorithm (O’Reilly et al. 1998), which performs well in the open waters that dominate the study area. |
