The POEM-LIA-2-Phyto dataset is based on samples collected at 13 stations in March-April 1986 from depths down to 200m. The dataset includes 27 samples of phytoplankton species composition and abundance. The POEM-LIA-5-Phyto dataset is based on samples collected at 8 stations from in March-April 1987. Samples were collected at several depths from surface to 50 m. The dataset includes about 24 samples of phytoplankton species composition and abundance. The POEM-LIA-6-Phyto dataset is based on samples collected at 9 stations in August-September 1987. Samples were collected from standard depths (1, 10, 20, 50, 75, 100, 150 or 200) m. The dataset includes about 63 samples of chlorophyll, 22 samples of phytoplankton species composition and abundance. The POEM-LIA7-Phyto dataset is based on samples collected at 33 stations in March-April 1988 at standard depths (1, 10, 20, 50, 75, 100, 150 and/or 200 m). The dataset includes about 260 samples of chlorophyll and 80 samples of phytoplankton species composition and abundance. The POEM-LIA-8-Phyto dataset is based on samples collected at 24 stations in August-September 1988. Samples were collected from standard depths (1, 10, 20, 50, 75, 100, 150 or 200 m). The dataset includes about 168 samples of chlorophyll, 42 samples of phytoplankton species composition and abundance. The POEM-LIA-10-Phyto dataset is based on samples collected at 25 stations in August-September 1989. Samples were collected from standard depths (1, 20, 0, 75, 100, 150, 200 m). The dataset includes about 150 samples of chlorophyll, 30 samples of phytoplankton species composition and abundance samples.
