| Summary | Data collected by research vessels and the MAFF Lowestoft programme of 'on-passage' sampling by Ocean Weather Ships are screened and combined to provide monthly temperature and salinity values since January 1948 within the deep-water areas 56° - 57° N, 9° - 13° W, 57° - 58° N, 10° - 13° W. |
