Description | |
Summary | Loch Etive is a Scottish fjord. Fifteen CTD stations in Loch Etive were surveyed every two weeks in 1970 to 1973. The aim of the experiment was to describe the aperiodic changes in the water masses of the loch resulting from fluctuating freshwater flows into the fjord system. Tables of temperature, salinity and density are available at depth intervals of one metre at each station. The measurements were checked by reference to a reference salinometer and deep sea reversing thermometers. |
