Description
Summary

Core samples were taken for meiobenthos studies at various positions in the north east Atlantic between Madeira and the Faroes. Regular samples were taken at a 3000m station west of Ireland and a 5000m station south west of Porcupine Seabight. Most of these samples still have to be analyzed. Many of these core samples were photographed in-situ at the time of corer penetration. Reversing thermometer data from the corer were also taken on many corer drops.
