Description
Summary

Water bottle samples were taken six to seven times a year between 1928 and 1987 at Station E1 (50° 02'N, 4° 22'W), offshore from Plymouth, for obtaining the following data: temperature, salinity, phosphate, nitrate, silicate and phytoplankton (species counts). Data were also collected at other stations in the English Channel for part of the period.
