Description
Summary

This dataset comprises measurements from discrete water samples collected in bottles during cruises organised by the Mediterranean Institute of Oceanography (MIO) or joint experiments with other labs. Samples were collected in a number of locations wordwide for analysis in PRECYM (https://precym.mio.univ-amu.fr/spip.php?rubrique50). PRECYM is a the regional Flow Cytometry platform hosted by the MIO. PRECYM is equipped with: Cytoron Absolute (ORTHO Diagnostic Systems), Accuri C6, FACS Calibur, Influx (BD Biosciences) and MoFlo (DAKO, Dk). Other flow cytometers may be added. The samples were collected for flow cytometry analyses in order to study the diversity and spatio temporal distribution of functional groups such as Phytoplankton and heterotrophic prokaryotes.
