Description
Summary

This dataset is an as is archive (to safeguard data) of the data received from the NERC Metabolomics Analysis Facility (NMAF), which operated between March 2009 and March 2019. It comprises raw data, processed data, spectra and reports on the concentration of metabolites measured by the NMAF, using NMR and mass spectroscopy for 40-50 research projects. The NMAF measured the concentration of numerous metabolites from many different organisms, including terrestrial, marine and cryosphere samples, taken at multiple sites around the world to evaluate the effects of: ocean acidification; nutrient enrichment in rivers; metabolic diversity; atmospheric nitrogen input. Some of this data has been submitted to MetaboLIGHTS, the metabolomics-specific database, but it is not known how much.
