Description
Summary

This project consists of a range of numerical simulations testing revised parameterisations of air-ice and ice-ocean drag. This will lead to revised model treatment of momentum transfer. The data from this model consists of monthly fields of dynamic ocean topography and geotrophic currents. The spatial coverage is 60N to 81.5N and runs are for the period of 2003-2014. Data can be accessed from http://www.cpom.ucl.ac.uk/dynamic_topography/. Data were generated under NERC Discovery Science grant NE/M015238/1 led by Dr Michel Tsamados under parent grant NE/M015025/1 led by Professor Daniel Feltham.
