Description 
Summary

The data set comprises wave, wind and water level data from five North Sea oil/gas platforms as follows: 1. Leman (53° 05'N, 002° 06'E): data collection began 01 December 1991 and is continuing. 2. North Cormorant: data collection began 01 September 1983 and is continuing. Data have mainly been gathered by InstallOcean. 3. Auk Alpha: data collection began in 1976 for wave data, 1980 for wind (plus other meteorological parameters) and 1983 for water level data. Data collection has mainly been carried out by InstallOcean and is continuing. 4. Silver Pit (54° 06.18'N, 002° 02.37'E): data were collected between 17 December 1988 and 08 February 1989 by Marex (now Paras) as part of the Maersk Guardian measurement programme. 5. Brent Bravo (waves and winds only): Data were collected between 01 December 1975 and 31 May 1980 by Marex (now Paras). Further wave data were collected by Huntings Surveys between 01 June 1980 and 01 September 1983.
