Summary | a) 1989 Three inter-tidal transects were established between the road bridge and Broughty Castle, involving a total of 15 sites. Five cores were taken at mid-shore and low water mark, two at all others. Sediment samples were taken at mid- and low water mark sites for loss-on-ignition and particle size analysis in addition to faunal analysis. b) 1991 A mid-shore transect of seven sites was established intersecting the 1989 sites. Two cores were taken at each site. |
