A spatial survey of Belfast Lough at >20 stations on 60 occasions between Sept 1992 to June 1996 was completed to determine the trophic status of Belfast Lough. In addition nutreint inputs to the lough were calculated and mathematical modelling used to evaluate the effectiveness of management options.
