CTD; discrete water samplers

NIJAMP is a monitoring programme funded by The Environment and Heritage Service (EHS), The Loughs Agency and The Department of Agrisculture and Rural Development (DARD). It maintains a network of 10 moorings around the coast of north Ireland located in impounded estuaries, sea-loughs and coastal seas. All moorings measure temperature, salinity, flouresence. Some moorings also measure turbidity and DO. Instruments in the western Irish Sea and Belfast Lough also measure nutrients on a periodic basis. Instruments are serviced approximately every 6 weeks and additional spatial surveys completed during servicing.
