Summary | Environmental Services carry out routine monthly monitoring for radiation. This is carried out throughout Inverclyde and consists of sampling sea water, sea weed, sediments, grass, drinking water, local crops, milk and fish at various times of the year. Gamma radiation is also measured using a mini 6-80 radiation monitor. |
