Data sets on shore and sea birds: 1. Beached Bird Survey - periodic surveys of stretches of beach to count and identify (dead) washed up sea birds. 2. Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS) - periodic survey of coastal waters to assess numbers (and trends) in wildfowl and wading birds. 3. Seabird breeding colony surveys - survey/assessment of breeding seabird numbers at various colonies.
