Summary | In 1990 the Blekinge Coastal Water Committee was founded. The reason was to create a co-ordinated recipient control in the county. The control programme comprises physical, chemical and biological parameters. The aim with a co-ordinated recipient control has been to gain a better overview concerning changes along the whole Blekinge coast and not only parts of it. They also wanted to be able to give information about the environmental effects from the activity which is carried on in the county and about possible trends in the coastal water. Several stations in the northern Hano Bight are visited once a year in May of zooplankton sampling. The stations are situated in areas which are affected by several activities. Sediment, temperature and oxygen near the seafloor is also measured. |
