GLOBAL CHANGE - T,S,pH,O2, chlorophyll, navigation and met. data for RV Belgica cruises 1991/16 and 1992/16
|Data holding centre||Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Management Unit of North Sea and Scheldt Estuary Mathematical Models, Ostend|
|Time period||From 24 June 1991 to 10 July 1991 (also 16 to 27 June 1992)|
21 stations were sampled in 1991: 15 stations in the English Channel, 6 stations in the northern front of the Bay of Biscay. In 1992, 27 stations were sampled.
Horizontal spatial co-ordinates; Alkalinity, acidity and pH of the water column; Variable fluorescence parameters; Dissolved oxygen parameters in the water column; Bathymetry and Elevation; Raw temperature and/or salinity instrument output
The aim of the cruises was to identify and to quantify vertical and lateral fluxes of elements in the oceanic system and particularly to evaluate the role of the biological processes in these fluxes.
