| Objectives and Narrative |
1) To determine flow and transport in the Eastern Boundary of the Sub Tropical Gyre.
2) To measure the exchange of water between the shelf and the ocean at selected locations along the continental slopes using current meters and satellite tracked drifting buoys. 3) To measure the strength and extent of the warm continental slope flow in the Bay of Biscay (Navidad). 4) Deployment of OMEX current meter moorings, Argos Buoys and ALACE floats. 5) To relate the biological distributions of chlorophyll "a" and phytoplankton production to the measured physical structures. |
