Objectives and Narrative |
Geophysical cruise. P. Barker (Legs 1 and 2); C. Pudsey (Leg 3)
Charles Darwin was fitted with GLORIA and the main interest in the cruise was to run this over a number of zones of interest, in particular over the North Scotia Ridge, in the South Sandwich Arc area over the Western Margin of the Antarctic Peninsula. A full suite of other geophysical measurements was carried out in parallel with the GLORIA survey. |
