Objectives and Narrative	Ref - 19930031 Leg 5 of a 5 leg cruise, WOCE area A10 Geological and and chemical observations in the subtropical South Atlantic as part of the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE), supplemted by biological and air chemistry observations and by a component of Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS). Measurements of temperature, salinity, oxygen, nutrients and anthropogenic tracers were obtained along the zonal WHP secion A10 along 30deg S (cruise track Brazil to South Africa). These investigations were supplemented by measurements of the carbonate system (contributing to JGOFS) and by biological sampling for the the determination of surface plankton, and studies of atmospheric aerosol particles.
