| Objectives | 1. To carry out a water quality survey of the offshore Tyne area from Blyth to Seaham to assess the impact of sewage dumping.
2. To occupy 3 anchor stations close to the dump site and measure water quality and currents over 13 hour periods. 3. To occupy an offshore anchor station in approximately 50 metres of water within the dumping area as for aim 2. 4. If possible to measure water quality after a dump by the Northumbrian Water Authority. Not completed. |
