| Objectives | 1. To conduct a sedimentological survey of the two site Z dredged spoil dumpsites using grabbing, coring and sidescan sonar. 17 grabs stations were worked. No cores were taken nor sidescan used.
2. To collect samples of benthos from the vicinity of the dumpsites for metals analysis. No benthos samples were collected. 3. To collect samples of water from the vicinity of the dumpsites for chemical analysis (in particular mercury determination). One 13 h anchor station and 21 water quality stations were worked; this aim was thus successfully achieved. |
