ObjectivesTo carry out a trawl survey of the Celtic Sea to obtain information on the distribution and abundance of commercial fish species for stock assessment purposes.
Ancilliary aims include CTD profiles at each trawl station, surface sea-water samples for tritium analysis, benthos survey using a 2m beam trawl at each standard trawl survey station and collection of some phytoplankton samples.
