Research

Objectives

Biogeochemical survey of area at La Chapelle Bank (approximately 47° 30'N, 7° 10'W).
Main tasks:
1. Underway measurements of salinity, temperature, relative fluorescence, meteorological parameters, pCO2, pH and dissolved O2.
2. CTD profiles and light (PAR) profiles. Parameters sampled from 2 CTDs - dissolved O2, alkalinity, pH, nutrients, chlorophyll.
3. Production experiments on samples from 1 CTD.
