ObjectivesThe cruise is concerned with a geophysical and geochemical study of the Earth's crust in the Scotia Sea region. The work undertaken this season involved two separate projects:
1) Recovery of an automatic seismograph established on South Thule island in January 1976.
2) Magnetometer survey during passages within the Scotia Sea including 2 grid surveys in the Central and East Scotia Sea.
