Description: Nephrops were placed in cages on the seabed and their survival recorded over several days. 30 creel-caught tagged with plastic toggle tags inserted through the junction between carapace and abdomen, 14 creel-caught tagged with plastic streamer tags, 30 creel-caught untagged (control group) and 58 trawl-caught obtained from commercial vessel
CrustaceansQuantity: number of hauls = 25
Description: Four fleets of 25 creels were fished for periods of 1-5 days using salt herring bait. The size and sex compositions were determined.
TaggingsQuantity: number of specimens = 1964
Description: Toggle-tagged Nephrops (1285 males, 679 females) were released in the area during the cruise. The carapace lengths of these animals were measured to the nearest 0.1mm
