Gear researchQuantity: number of specimens = 36
Description: 3 cages were set up to look at the effects of tagging. Cage 1- 36 haddock and a few whiting, accidently included, were the control. 2 haddock died, but the rest appeared to be in good condition.

Description: Cage 3- 50 bottom tagged haddock. These were tagged in 2 sessions. 48 fish survived.
Gear researchQuantity: number of specimens = 50
Description: Cage 2- 50 surface tagged haddock. The fish alive were regarded as being in good condition, but only 3 had survived. This was thought to be due to the fact the haddock had been towed behind the boat.
