PurposeResearch
ObjectivesLOIS RACS (C) Flux Curtain

Profiling was undertaken at three sites throughout the cruise: day one West Hawke Lightfloat; day four Barton Ness Sands; day five off Whitton High Sands. At each site the bed rig was deployed and measured temperature, turbidity and depth and current velocities. Surface waters were monitored by the NRA's system. Particle size was determined in situ and samples were collected for gravimetric analysis.
