ObjectivesLOIS RACS ( C) Core Programme. Axial survey of the Ouse.

Survey stated at Barnby Barrage (station 1) and not further upstream at Selby (station 4) after a delay to the previous cruise. The survey continued downstream passing the apex and into the Humber and finished at Hull (station 16). Surface waters were monitored for nutrients (TON, phosphate, silicate and ammonium), conductiviey and temperature, pH, dissolve oxygen, fluorscence etc. Discrete samples were taken for determination of suspended sediment, metals and related parameters.
