B)To service an sea bed ADCP frame and SmartBuoy mooring at 53 27N 3 39W.

C)To obtain CTD profiles, water samples and grab samples at the Coastal Observatory sites.

The cruise is the 54th in a series starting in August 2002 to maintain the moorings in objective (A+B) and to steam round a CTD grid in Liverpool Bay / the eastern Irish Sea, objective ©. Poor weather ensured that objective (A) was not fulfilled and that only the ADCP frame in objective (B) was serviced. Measurements were made at 22 out of a possible 34 sites for objective (C).
